Episode 92 – Chrono, Crossbows and club shoot

I managed to record this episode will struggling with a case of the flu so apologies if this episode is full of me sniff and heavy breathing down the microphone.

Having said this is does cover quite a few topics from experimenting with the clubs chronograph to measure bow speeds, while trying out a few different options in point weights for club member on their crossbow.

I also mention the Archery Geek outdoors recent podcast concerning the Governments call for evidence on crossbows. I have included links to the episode and government site below for you to review.

Episode 81 – When target panic hit me at a local tournament

podcast image

No surprise that the subject of this episode is target panic. In it I talk about how it made me feel when it hit me at a local field archery tournament a few days ago.

This is partly a personal reflection but also I am hoping it will give some confidence to those who like myself struggle with anxiety at times. I also go through how I used a few techniques to settle my nerves throughout the day.

Inspired by Angel at High Power Archery I try to adapt the don’t be that guy segment he uses in his podcasts to a do a be that guy who tries to help, offers a friendly ear or non-judgemental viewpoint.

Enjoy your shooting and as always thanks for listening.

Episode 80 – Don’t extinguish the fire

You can now listen to the most recent episode of my podcast: Episode 80 – Don’t extinguish the fire with Kristina Dolgilevica Editor of Bow International where we talk archery, coaching and her love of shooting.

I was fortunate enough to be able to record the session before she set off to South Korea.

Hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening.
